What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Got my bike rack ready for my new van...
Stripped and powder coated (£80), reassembled today, complete with treated stainless rivets (to make them black) from Accu (www.accu.co.uk).
If anyone tries this, be aware you need a decent rivet gun - the little hand ones don't work on 6mm stainless rivets

I guess you’ll know if you made a mistake in a few weeks.

The guys in the powder coaters were trying to convince me to go bronze.

I think the colour you've chosen is spot on, and I'm just jealous...mine are platinum but would of liked them to sparkle a bit more

It’s very hard to pick a finish like these. The way it looks varies on the light. Fingers crossed they come out right.

Unfortunately I think the first proper meet I can attend will be the bus fest in sept as it goes to the converters at the beginning of June and he will have it for 6-8 weeks otherwise I would have been there
