Various Discounts Go Here:

As I suspected, ABD either bump their prices up pre-sale or are high to begin with.

Just ordered some Philips GT200 H7 from Powerbulbs £22.49 including free basic postage. Although they say they are the cheapest and don’t do discount codes there is a box at checkout for one so if anyone finds one then worth a go.
Meanwhile, over at ABD, the same twin pack of GT200s is £33.60 (again free post). Even after the ‘discount’ - which almost never ends, they are still over 10% dearer than Powerbulbs.

The email order confirmation from Powerbulbs contained a discount code for Wiperblades.co.uk - WB10 gets you 10% off (no idea what their pricing is like vs others - maybe dearer than ABD for wiper blades :grin bounce: , or maybe not). They do have Bosch blades in stock though, so that’s nice.

Bought some Nanolex glass polish (hoping it removes the light scratches from gritty wiper blades) and the box had a leaflet with a discount code (see below).
Looks old but then it was packed/shipped within the last two days so maybe it still works?

My mistake it was actually £192 with green flag and £378 with AA (discount applied)
Where did you get £62 from ?
Via a comparison site, by selecting van breakdown I think. I was on the phone to Green Flag before, Customer Services didn’t even mention it. I think @Salty Spuds took out the same policy.

The folding 100w Renogy Solar Panel is currently £65 on Amazon.

It's not as cool as the folding fabric based ones but it's solidly built and ideal if you want to dabble in some self sufficient power if you have a LiFePo power pack. Mines been doing good service over the summer for this. Being two small but solid exterior grade panels it may also work as a small solar shed array with some mounting DIY.

Also for £70 they will chuck in a 20A PWM controller. It's not going to be as neat or as efficient as a Victron MPPT but handy to have a spare or to experiment with keeping an old starter battery topped up in the shed just in case.

Anyone need any Brembo discs or pads….

They don’t seem to be what they used to be. Had Brembo disks and pads on the Golf and they squeal a lot. Also on the bike the Brembo caliper and disc up front are useless - this is a 2024 bike, with many owners swapping them out from new with EBC kit. I guess they do different levels of quality but I think most of their normal stuff is Chinese now?

Ahh fair enough…. Can’t say Iv used them myself before and I don’t have them on my camper or any of the cars so I can’t comment. Was just in case anyone on here does use/like them!

Like a lot of things nowadays, probably use less quality products, mass produced in China using the well known brand name and probably making even more money than ever before!

Never had an issue with Brembo brakes.
Installation is the key, how many people check the disc run out with a DTI, not many.

Rumour is that Brembo stuff from ECP is made to a lower spec hence the cheaper price when bought from ECP

Mate has a track car and him and the guys he races with found the ECP Brembo stuff not upto scratch compared to their usual sources
