Various Discounts Go Here:

Not a discount as such, but a healthy saving for anyone that way inclined.

In bed in the van last night idly surfing the web I noticed that the Leighton Vans branded Pipercross induction kit is only £119. "Thats cheap," I thought.

I idly checked to see how much a Pipercross branded one would be and was gobsmacked to see its £190.

So if youre the sort what wears a baseball cap with a sticker on the peak and the crotch of your jeans is round your knees and you feel like an induction kit then get the Leighton Vans item and save yourself £70 over the Pripercross one from which it is made.

When is a sale not a sale?
When it's a Halfords Black Friday sale!!

lol, doubling the price is the best thing for those BSO things, they put most kids off cycling for life.
Get them an Islabike or similar - lightweight, grips and brake levers designed for smaller hands and the resale is crazy strong so you probably save money in the long run. Take the pedals off the smallest one and start them early using it as a balance bike.
We even sold one with a damaged frame for more money than this Halfords one cost - that’s how good the residuals are.

What are Vtoman like compared to other brands like Bluetti?
I’ve only got one of their jump starter/tyre inflator gizmos. It can be used as a small power pack but just for charging gadgets really. It’s been great - must be a couple of years old at least and still going strong. Only used the jump starter feature once, use the pump weekly and we charge phones with it sometimes when camping.

I think they are the same group as GooLoo which seem to do well in reviews of jump starters. Vtoman have dropped most of that stuff as the two brands just doubled up on products really, and have been doing power products instead. I would imagine their cell supplier is still the same though.
I also imagine most of these Chinese companies use the same batteries to be honest.
The 21700 cell most of these things will be made up of is fairly ubiquitous and is in everything from flashlights to EVs.
I have brands I steer clear of for cells but I’m happy with the booster/pump I have. Don’t own any Bluetti products to compare it to.
There are several brands I’d be happy with and only a few I wouldn’t trust (ironically Trustfire is a brand I had a problem with in terms of cells).
