The sockets need changing and re-pinning or you can get a convertor loom for £25. Will give you twin reverse and twin for lights. Extensive thread on this
He will still only have 1 reversing lightTwenty20 leds in ours too , plenty of light.

The H7s use two lamps in each light. One on for dipped, and both on for main beam.
Twin reversing lights on my 2019 panel van Highline?
I thought it was only one, bought a single Twenty20 Led to go in it, and when I checked to make sure it worked I realised there was one the other side
It’s not really the same issue.
My van uses H4 and therefore a single reflector for both dipped and main beams with the H4 only able to illuminate either the dipped or main filament at any one time (can’t have both lit). The dipped filament is rated for 55w and the main for 60w. The DRL is separate 21w bulb in it’s own reflector and isn’t a ‘to see by’ light, merely a ‘to be seen by’ light.
My Golf has factory H7/H15 headlamps - twin reflector units.
When the headlights are off it uses the lower powered (15w) filament of the H15 as a DRL.
Turning headlights to dipped it uses the 55w H7 bulb in a reflector designed specifically for that bulb and the dipped light pattern, and switches too a small 5w wedge bulb sidelight rather than the H15 DRL filament.
Turning on main beams does not turn off dipped - so I still have the H7 providing a full 55 watts of lovely spill light close to the car, but it’s joined by the high power (55w) filament of the H15 bulb which sits within the main beam reflector to project all that light forward for long distance needs.
A H4 (single reflector unit) can only do close or far, not both, as it can only use a max of 60w (one filament) at a time. The reflector is more of a compromise too as it needs to cater for the twin filament bulb and try and satisfy the needs of both near and far reaching light from one bowl.
LED replacement bulbs are not road legal as the way LEDs emit light is different to a halogen filament bulb and so they don’t work properly in the reflector bowls and can cause dazzle for other road users as well as sometimes causing patchy light output that doesn’t help the driver.
I find Philips Rally 200 halogen H4 bulbs are a big improvement in the Transporter and are road legal.
No, it doesn't.
Because the T6.1 (the one with the the H7 and H15 combo), does not keep the DRL active when either the low or high beam are active.
So the combinations that you have are:
1=Side/park lights= H15 DRL filament at half voltage, all the rest OFF.
2=DRL =H15 DRL filament at full voltage, all the rest OFF.
3=Low Beam=H7 ON, all the rest OFF
4=High Beam=H7 ON, H15 High beam filament ON, all the rest OFF.
Notes:
The difference betwee 1 and 2 is difficult to spot.
The combination 3) is very unusual on modern cars.
The combination 4 implies 2x2 high power (50W) filaments active together, not that bad.
The H15 lamp has 2 filames that, like the H4 cannot be used together, one low power (about 15W) for the DRL and one high power (about 50 W) for the high beam. VW abuse it to obtain also the side/parking lights driving the DRL filament at about half voltage in PWM.
Finally, is to be noted that when the system detects an anomaly with the low beam (i.e. burnt bulb, or you have installed a LED an not coded it properly) it will turn on automatically the DRLs so, so it will look like any other modern car.
All the above referes to a STANDARD T6.1, where the H7-H15 combo originally belongs.
So does mine, need to work out how to make both sides work as the bulbs etc are there.

Check the connectors to see if all 6 pins are used. If not they will require additional cable running like mine

On my 2019 T6 Kombi my full headlights have started to show a bit blub/rainbow colours on the top edge of the light but I'm confused if I can even change out the bulbs. I think I have the H7 LED's as pictured below but presumably these bulbs can be replaced? If so which bulbs do I need?
Those are factory LED lights. The only bulb is for the indicator. The headlights have built in LED modules.
Is the option then that I have to change a whole headlamp out or just live with the rainbow/bluish edges?
The blueish tinge seems quite normal to me.
