Hello everyone.

Picked up our 2017 T30 Kombi (Hugh) today and wasted no time when we got home prepping him for conversion.

Silent Coat, Insulation, Carpet & Glue ready and waiting in the garage but 1st job tomorrow will be lifting the floor and giving Hugh's back end a good clean.

Welcome and look forward to seeing some more photos as you progress.

This morning my 1st job was to lift the floor. I was confronted with half a tonne of sand which took an age to clean up.

But eventually I got to this.

Rear seatbelts removed and all panels wiped down.

Time for the F1 qualifying.

So after clearing up the sandpit and the two and a half hour qualifying I got busy with the Silentcoat.

Wheels arches were done the following morning.

Red oxide paint applied to the holes drilled in the floor and walls.

The rest of yesterday was taken up with applying thermal insulation to the walls and roof. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether I've left enough room in the roof for the lights. Guess I'll find out once my @travelvolts order arrives.

Before I finished for the day I applied Polymer Sealant to the holes in the floor.

Whilst I was away from home with work the wife did a little bit of spring cleaning.

If you own a 2nd hand van and have OCD, DO NOT look under your cab flooring!:sick:

Not a huge amount done this weekend but did manage to finish the roof. Also took a visit to Central Ply-Lining to get my 12mm floor. Would definitely recommend Gary, really friendly and knowledgeable.
