I suspect that your reversing lights are PWMed and this is causing camera misbehaviour. Connect your reversing trigger to permanent 12V DC for testing purposes or alternatively deactivate Byte 11 Bit 4 in your BCM.

In this case you have to test your camera on your home TV or any appropriate LCD screen/monitor.

Yes, as long it is producing video signal in CVBS standard( generally speaking almost all coaxial cable type setups).

Okay, I found inexpensive source of all required components(brand new components) and now I am awaiting my delivery.
It looks that I am going to close the whole upgrade within £100 = €112 .

Also I suspect that Audi camera modules are compatible but I haven't verified that yet.
