Hi all
I am having trouble with installing an aftermarket reversing camera in my T6.1 highline with discover media head unit. So far I have:
1. Taken power from the reversing light, (going through a canbus relay).
2. Connected the yellow video input to the headunit using an adaptor suitable for the headunit.
3. Using obd11, in gateway module 19, set rear view camera to coded. In module 5f, byte 19 i have ticked bit 4. In module 76 parking, byte 2 i have enabled bit 4.
I can now see module 6c in my list however there is no communication. When switching on the ignition the screen shows, "The camera system is currently unavailable" message.
When I select reverse gear the parking sensor screen still shows and no camera image. This makes me think I still need to code something? I think i have checked all the basics, camera is definitely getting 12v etc. Any advice would be much appreciated.
