Will 255/55/18 fit on a lowered van?

Looking good!! And the fitment looks pretty much perfect. Thanks again for your help.
My set up is a lot wider, I went for 9j all round and et35 with a 255 50 18 tyre. 12mm spacers on the rear so they sit flush with the front.

Hey there.
got any side on shots of you van?
I am going down the same route in regard to changing up a size or 2 in tyre and would like to see what yours look like from the side on the 50. 18s

Not the greatest pic (a wet French campsite) but this is on 255/50 18 on 8J rims & is sitting about 50 below std.

Thanks..
They look alot better than stock.
I have the standard 255 45 18 on the sportline alloy t6.1 but they just look lost tucked in under the wheel arches with all that space around them.
I've swapped tyres front to back so I can hopefully wear them evenly to replace all 4 at the same time.. gives me options.
14500k att the moment and still few more k in them I reckon..

I like them, ands the ride is very compliant but the choice of tyres in 103 is limited I only found 2 & went for the Bridgestone T005. About 1/2 worn now so it looks like they’ll do about 25k miles. Might try the Hankook next time.

This is my wheel sitting in the wheel arch like a male sex organ on a v cold day...
Please could I see some of your wheels along with tyre sizes and spacing? to see what I need to do to fix this as I am nearly ready for 4 new tyres and want to get this right along with any wheel spacing I need todo. Thanks in advance..

I'm thinking of putting AT tyres on my t6.1 sportline.
Going for the urban sport look...
At the moment I have 255 45 18 tyres on the oem alloys.
Looking at 235 55 18 AT3 tyres still on my oem alloys and some wheel spacers to pull the wheels out from under the arches a bit..
Opinions please..
Also any advice would be gratefully received..

In the pic below;

Blue dash dot dot is std sport line 255/45 R18 on 8J ET 50 rim

Green dash dot. is your proposed 235/55 R18 on same rim as above

FYI the black solid line is my current set up; 255/50 R18 on 8J ET43 Rim
The red line is the hub face...

I have no rubbing with all arch liners fully intact. It is lowered about 55mm & does go lower for motorway cruising (I'm on on air)
Your arch gap will be reduced by about 14mm, the speedo will read about 4% lower at the same speed; it may even be almost correct!

Hope this helps.

Thanks Rids.
I got them done yesterday and just to let you know your calculations are spot on.
Also yes the speedo is now bang on against the one on waze..
Went for the general grabber at3. So far I'm impressed. Much more comfortable ride.. spacers and a slight drop next I'm thinking..
Want to get it just right...20230318_105737.jpg20230317_175447.jpg

What size spacers are you using there on your sportline rims Rids?

Looking good
Mine is currently on the original Devonports with winter tyres at the moment & just looks wrong…. I’ll change over soon.
My 18’s are BBS SX and have ET43 so I don’t run spacers with them.
The sport line wheels are ET50 so I have 7mm more poke as you can see in the pic.
I think the fronts look spot on, but I have some 3 & 5mm shim spacers to try on the rears… that reminds me I must order some longer bolts for that!
