That's the one that's in the DRL lower grille. I thought that it may have worked its connection loose after I fitted the extra lights, but popped it out and everything is properly intact. Hopefully a new sensor will fix it.

Swap two sensor plugs around and clear the fault code with VCDS and then read the faults again.
You will know 100% sure if your sensor is faulty or your wiring.

New sensor fitted but the problem is still there. This is the scan with the new sensor fitted.

No, because I'd already got the new sensor coming and it was an easy swap. I didn't fancy trying to pry out icy cold plastic trim to swap it with the one next to it. But having said that, I could just as easily swap it with the outer right one.

I'm off to do that now.

All fixed.

Popped the trim panel away and the plug fell off the new sensor. Plugged it back in and it all works. What a spaz.
