We have had this unit installed as we wanted reverse camera to supplement our reverse sensor. The dealer recommended this unit as it doubles up as dash cam for a little more money we got two things rear cam and dash cams front and rear.
The unit when in rear view my wife finds the image is very unsettling as vehicles appear to be further than actually are , therefore on motorway she looks at this image like a rear view mirror and thinks she got time to move lanes but the reality is the vehicles are much closer.
I said you should be using wing mirrors for checking the rear view image is an indication as it’s not too scale as so to speak ?
I wonder if anyone else has experience of this unit or knows of setting we can adjust ?
