Front Inner Wheel Arch Cover Fitting.

Hi all, I managed to remove the front wheel arch inner cover on my T6.1, however, it seems not to want to go back. The damn thing looks like it tucks in between the outer bodywork and another section of sheet metal.
I can't find anything useeful on YouTube and I was starting to get angry while faffing about with it!

If anyone can shed any light on the process (or strip theirs down whilst videoing it!) I would be forever in their debt!

Cheers for your anticipated help :)

Okay. I went to ask some experts at The Phirm who told me that without a hoist, you have to "force" the mofo into position. I ended up cutting a thin strip off the front top face on the wheel liner, in order to make it fit.
This would make a great item to upgrade, as it's a shyte idea the way VW have desinged the thing! :)

Must be different from the T6, I managed to replace mine without even taking the wheel off… just needed to be jacked up for acces.

To get the most force, lay on your back and push it up/in with a leg.

My how to without needed a hoist or using much in the way of any force:
