EPB Retrofit ... the way to Stop & Go

so your ABS is not factory AutoHold
I think @dnoermann long time ago said that some ABS MK60EC1 can do full stop with ACC to 0, but other function not work, after update to CC , other function working ok, but ABS no longer stop till 0.

Actually, I haven't seen it. I believe that in Brazil my Jetta Mk5 is the only one with the 07K 2.5 engine, 02E DQ250 transmission, and autohold. Everything is still in the testing phase, which is why I'm asking for help. And would there be another ABS hardware option I could use?

One more time:
Have you ever see MK60ec1 fully working with AutoHold ?
When I was using the autohold with the 09G transmission, it worked perfectly. However, the 09G doesn't have a clutch, but a torque converter. Then I switched to the 02E DQ250, and that's when I started having this problem with the clutch being engaged. I know the message telling the transmission to disengage comes from the ABS, but I don't know what to do to enable that message. That's one issue; the other would be the possibility of installing another ABS unit that supports this function and is compatible with my 2007 Jetta MK5.

so tha tAutohold was factory in your car ?

No, both the auto hold and the DSG transmission were installed by me. Originally from the factory it was equipped with an 09G transmission, without auto hold and with a manual parking brake. The auto hold itself works perfectly; my problem is that when the car is stopped and held by the auto hold, the DSG clutch engages, trying to make the car move. From what I've researched, the ABS unit should send a signal to the DSG transmission telling it to disengage, and that's what I need to fix.

After few years of testing, I would like to demonstrate my approach to achieving this thread's primary objective:
"Stop and Go Adaptive Cruise Control"

Yes, time limited but still way, way better than factory FtS.

Hi, congratulations! It's fantastic FTS on PQ,in MQB not is so special, but on PQ yes 😉

I have FTS on my Golf MK5 GTI whit MED 9.1 and MK60EC1 index BS and custom EPB emulator, but I have a error when car stopped and I don't press brake, how you have solved this problem?
Thanks

My play with EPB switches has come to the successful end :).

Unfortunately, as posted here, switch 5N0927225B is not direct replacement for 56D927225.

Unit 5N0927225B uses 6 pins for actual EPB switch with 2 internal capacitors and unit 56D927225 uses 4 pins with 4 internal diodes.
Additionally micro switches are also different, first one has 2 x (separate N/O contacts & separate N/C contacts) against second one with 2 x ( double N/O, C, N/C).

Taking into account the size of internal PCB and SMD components I decided to transfer 2 micro switches from 56D927225 to 5N0927225B.
Illumination and all indicators are used directly from 5N0 PCB with 56D micro switches wired externally to the 56D PCB.

What's worth to mention is that unit 5N0927225B is identical physically and electronically to 5N0927225A.

Alternative method and probably much more straightforward would be to use 7N0927225B unit.
It uses 16 pin plug (part number 1K0927928).
Pins 1, 2, 3 & 4 correspond directly to the wiring of 56D927225 unit.
Pin 5(+) & 6(-) are for illumination.
Pin 9(+) & 10(-) are for EPB ON indicator.
Pin 12(-) & 13(+ in) are for Auto Hold indicator.
Pin 13(+ in) & 14(+ out) are for Auto Hold switch.
Remaining 5 pins are not in use.

Summarising all 3 (16 pin) units mentioned above 5N0927225A, 5N0927225B & 7N0927225B look identical externally
but only 7N0927225B has the same electronic internals as 56D927225 .

I need some help from my friends! I assembled my EPB with a 56D key to activate the motors and used a 5N key for autohold and console mounting. It was working perfectly. Yesterday my 7N key arrived and when installed in the vehicle it works correctly for activating the caliper motors, however, the autohold is faulty, indicating a short to ground for the autohold indicator LED. After that, I separated the circuits and again used the autohold from the 5N key and everything works perfectly. Any tips?

7N0 vs 5N0.webp

Oh okay. Which one would fit there? Is there a car with a separate control unit in the mqb platform? Or does it all work via the abs?
I suspect the T6.1 is a mix of MQB and PQ26, and its BCM is definitely MQB's. Therefore I guess it should be working with Golf MK7 EPBs but not sure anyway.
I am a car user from China with Golf 280TSI Highline (I have retrofitted it to the Maxline) and The Transporter T6 is my friend's (We call it Multi-Van)

Speaking of T6.1
Sadly, T6.1 is not imported to China Mainland. But happily, it is available in the Taiwan market so we found guys in Taiwan sending us the parameters to get the BSD 2Q0 Modules working perfectly.
(I don't know how Hong Kong and Macau Markets as they are RHDs, Mainland and Taiwan are LHDs which means I don't need to worry about the BSD setups)
Now we are working on the EPS module 2QD 909 144E.

T6.1 is MQB
some modules from MQB working with PQ but only CAN EX ... I will say like that
n

If you google, you can see how people in drive2.ru swap ABS pump in OCTAVIA MK III from MK100ESP to MK100IPB
not a big deal
add swich , do proper coding

Speaking of mixing PQ and MQB, we do have Polos in China (6R) switched to MQB 1.4TSI full set, ABS+Engine+ECU+BCM+MFD+PLA+ACC+LKA... All in all, everything MQB, just leaving a blank PQ bodywork LOOOOL

When VW made MQB - they show Chassias
when I recognize MQB - asking for electronic componnets
no matter where they from / where they are

As I mentioned before, I performed two important retrofits on my Jetta MK5 with ECU 07K 906 055 AA. One was the installation of EPB and auto hold, with module 56D 907 801 A, key 7N0927225B and ABS 1K0 907 379 CC ESP MK60EC1. The other was the replacement of the 09G transmission with an 02E DQ 250. The car is running without any major problems. Some things still need adjustment. One is the fact that the DSG clutch engages when the car is stopped and held by auto hold. The other is that I need to improve the torque reserve. If you know someone I could talk to about this, I would be grateful.
