I'm thinking of replacing my fridge from behind the passenger seat to under the bed, any problems with the sound when it kicks in? Ours turns for 30 seconds or so each 15 min.. It is silent though, gues it's is more the vibration in the van making it louder..
Thanks Pal, I will add you to the list, will be producing a new version with some slight mods, having used mine for a little while now, so will post some more on this in the next 2-3 weeks
Nope, no problem at all really, I just pop it onto eco mode a night, but to be honest I don't even notice it.

Did you manage to get a CNC file for the floor shape. Planning my new van out for when it arrives and I've been looking for info. I looked on the bodybuilder site and found the universal floor (I think they call it) but it's password protected unlike all the other stuff
Lots of measuring and templating I’m afraid... I managed to get one body builder file, but didn’t want to rely on that fully as it was for the 6.1 and I wasn’t sure how much had changed...

Turns out I’m a glutton for punishment so I took on a conversion for a mate...
He bought the van already carpeted, so I did sound deadening and 2 layers of insulation, fully electrical setup with 95ah battery, inverter, lights and 240v.
Made version 2 of the kitchen pod with a few key changes, including lock out slides, a pull out drawer for a washing up bowl and this time in Black, which looks awesome!

Great work, but can I ask a question, what are the pullout cooker units in a double pull out? Hope that makes sense.
The cooker in the black unit is an Outwell.
Sorry predictive text. I meant why is the cooker mounted in a double pull out?
Not really sure what you mean? It's mounted there as its convenient to use it, furthest point away from the van for smells etc and still under the cover of the tailgate. It's a double pull out as then the outer piece creates a small worktop area for preparing food.
