2017 204 - DPF Filter at 60g soot above 50g forced regen limit

Hi all,
what are the conditions to run IDE09005 via VCDS? It doesn't work for me. Is there an exact procedure for this?

Please post complete VCDS Auto-Scan.
What were your conditions, what was the error message?
What are you trying to achieve?
What's the back story?

In my case it was just the calculated that was over, the measured was still low. This was because I’d kept the fuel low for so long but still driving it, it wouldn’t regen so it thought it should be higher than it was…
I reset the calculated to the same as the measured, cleared the fault light and took it for a drive. It’s now done the regen and levels are all low .
Saved a bit of money I’m guessing thanks to this forum and @mmi :D
How did you reset the calculated value to the same as measured? Thanks 👍🏼

I can’t actually remember sorry  it was with VCDS but I bought it specifically to sort that issue, spent ages trying to work it out and haven’t used it since.. @mmi was extremely helpful and knowledgeable though!

Engine code CXHA

Was experiencing a similar issue with 59.99 calculated soot level. Oil ash level was 37.75 and measured soot was 8.5.

I've manually set the Oil ash level to 12 then the calculated soot level went down to 30 by itself. Was able to start a regen afterwards. After it completed I reverted the Oil Ash level to 37.75. Happy customer

I think there is a mix-up with terms. I guess actually the ash mass was adapted to make ECU believe that DPF excessive soot mass issue was rectified. The confusion might have arisen because ash mass and calculated soot mass numbers were by coincidence very close.
