DPF Issues - How to replace PCV Valve

Hi,

Looking for some advice, been having DPF issues, had a DPF cleaner come out who managed to force a regen and get levels down, but now back up to 41g over thresh hold of regen after 4 weeks. He previously recommended doing an oil change as oil quality was reading bad, which has been done and also replace PCV valve. Can anyone advise on where the PCV valve is and can just the membrane be replaced? any instructions would be great. T6 TDI.

At least on the CFCA engine variant it’s part of the cam cover so the whole cover would need replacing on my engine.
If you put a cheap endoscope (draper) down the induction hose below where the PCV valve T’s in you’ll see whether it excessively oily. Never do this with the engine running as the endoscope is long enough to reach the turbocharger!

Regarding poor oil quality; what was the issue, soot, fuel, metallic contamination? Replacing the PCV won’t compensate for worn bores / rings.
