Hi all, I am going abroad for 4 weeks and have to leave the van at work, I have got a smallish solar panel with controller to trickle charge the starter battery with crocodile clips. The van has a tracker and aftermarket immobilizer fitted so wanted to try and counter any current draw. My...
Hi I have a pop top that’s for an end kitchen so the other way round compared to many. Looking for advice on fitting solar panel and the subsequent wiring run.

Hi all,
I have recently purchased a Bluetti AC200Max Portable Power Station and I’m looking to pair it with some equally portable solar panel or panels.

A year ago I replaced my failed 120W Photonic Universe semi-flexible panel (initially fitted by Low-Life when they did the roof) with a 200W semi-flexible Photonic Universe panel.
This seemed to work really well initially but, unfortunately, has also now failed!
It is still under warranty and...
I've got a 2x rigid "Victron 175W Monocrystalline solar panel" and I'm researching the best way to install onto my T6.1 West Dubs pop top (has ridges).
Anyone got any suggestions? or photos of examples? I am assuming I may only put one on the van.
Thanks in advance.
Got around to fitting 2 Renogy semi flex 100W panels on Saturday along with a nice Victron MPPT controller. I know there’s different theories around regarding the best way to install the panels but it makes a lot of sense to me to use vinyl on the paintwork first and allow air and water have...
Looking into putting a pair of flexible solar panels on the pop top. What do folk recommend in terms of connectivity - do you hard wire through the pop top or run a fly lead through the rubber seal of the rear doors?
We have a T5.1 camper with a solar panel on the roof and find it indispensable for trips away. The trusty T5.1 will soon be replaced and it is looking likely that our new steed will be a T6.1 California. Solar is not a factory option, so how easy is it to get solar fitted to a California and...

Hi all, Last year I took the van to a Conversion company where I had the interior carpet lined and a pop top roof fitted along with a 150w semi flex solar panel on the roof. About a month ago the solar panel failed. It was still under warranty so I went back to the installer who was willing to...
Morning all, so I have my panel fitted to the roof and I was going to run the wires for it today, I have cut the hole for my entry gland and I was originally going to cut the supplied connectors off then feed the cable through and add some new connectors inside the roof so it looks a bit neater...

Got a quick 1 on solar. I'm booked in on Monday to have 1 fitted all I know is that it's a160w stealth panel that is stuck to the roof with all the wiring hidden under the panel so basically theyput a 30mm hole in...
Hey all, new member here but I've been lurking for a while, all the time searching for a T6 Caravelle to replace my Skoda Superb Estate which I've owned since 2019, and has been brilliant as a wagon taking me and my bikes to all corners of the UK.
Today, I collected this! It's a 2018 Caravelle...

Our leisure battery is 70 ah AGM and is struggling to power Dometic CR50 compressor fridge overnight when off grid. Apart from interior led lights and occasional use of diesel heater no other major load on LB. We have a choice to make and need some advice: do we install a 150w (say) flexible...
Super Easy to install.
The groves on the the roof allow air to travel through and massively reduces lift on the panel.
Had it on for a couple months now, no chance of coming off.
