I've just noticed my carpet lining on the inside of my sliding door rubs against the side panel and wheel arch when opening. I tried adjusting the bottom 2x m8 spline bolts which helped a bit but still not quite enough. Is there anything else i can do? Thanks in advance
Our van has been to Vw cleckheaton twice due to the sliding door scraping the paintwork, the problem has not been fixed and I can't be arsed taking it back to them again to be honest , I'd rather fix it myself if possible.
Can anyone please inform me how to raise it slightly to stop it scraping?
Hi all, have an issue with water ingress through the sliding door handle so need to remove the locking door mechanism in order to get to the water collection cup thing. Almost had it out on my last attempt but struggling with removing the inner door handle from the connecting rod. Does anyone...
I spotted water on my hob and sink yesturday. I could not see where it came from, from the inside, I opened the drivers side sliding door and it was wet, above the seal was dry which confused me. This however didnt show it was leaking unless they are not supposed to be wet? I thought one side of...

Evening all
I've been thinking about making a 'door store' similar to those on the internet. My mrs has popped out for an hour so I thought I'd have a look at starting it.
If anyone has done this before and has any advice I'd appreciate it. If it works out I'll draw the template and add it as...
Hi,
Has anyone had any issues with the rear sliding door not locking/unlocking properly?
My T6 has been havingrthat problem for a couple of weeks now. The doors are supposed to lock automatically after pulling off, but it very often fails. This results in it trying every time I slowdown and...
I have almost everything needed for running an electric sliding door. You could add/extend (pretty sure it is just a case of plugging the otherside in if its not already on the loom) if you wanted to add twin sliding doors but at the moment there is almost everything for a single sliding door.

Random question. Still getting used to the new van.
The side of the van the sliding door is on. Now I am seeing the van at a lower level (sat in my car next to it) I notice that the 'vent' for the door to slide has a bend in it making it bigger near where the door closes.
This seems to be part...
My side sliding door it appears doesnt want to unlock at times and takes multiple presses on the key fob whilst the rest of the doors unlock fine, even the key won't unlock it when it does this.
Anyone else had this issue?
Whilst cleaning the Kombi this afternoon I went to open the rear passenger door, pulled the handle and nothing!
Tried pressing the release on the key and nothing!
Tried pressing the button on the dash and nothing!
Pulled the handle on the inside and it opened. Electrics took over and it slid...
One of my electric side doors is playing up not closing properly like it’s struggling for power. My problem is I’m not here at the moment and my wife is hounding me about it. What’s the best thing for her to do as the closest dealer is a long trek away. It’s only just over a year old.
I wasn't sure where to post this but as a door won't lock, I'm thinking 'security issue! I went to shut the side door on my 18 month old, 4K miles T6 Highline this morning and it wouldn't close properly. The problem seems to be with the 'latch' mechanism in the door not 'hooking' over the bar...
