... Always check your straps folks! I've added zip ties to mine to prevent the same.

Roof flew open at 60mph. Ripped to pieces. I would of stopped to help but I was in a rush picking my daughter up from school.

Oh no!! I haven’t got a pop top on my T6 but on my T5 it always worried me!

Coming down the A1 yesterday... Someone in a pale blue transporter hadnt closed their pop top very well... Probably up 6 inches... YIkes

The first few times that I drove mine, the pop top popping up on the motorway was always at the back of my mind but I eventually persuaded myself that it was a bit irrational to worry about it too much. Mind you, I also bought what I reckon were some better quality cam straps and make sure to tie the slack around the 'pull down handles' every time the roof is closed after use. I also think that having a hatch cover slid into place gives a sort of out of sight out of mind vibe which also helps.

Call me a luddite, but I like straps because you can see with a glance that they are secure.

I saw a guy driving down the motorway yesterday, with his hand out of his window holding the roof down. He was doing about 40mph!!
