Wing-Mirror Mount - gloss black?

Yeah @Donk there is quite a lot of them about eBay etc but I think they just pop off so happy to use existing but the other part looks like the mirror would have to be off whilst sprayed etc.

Did you manage to find gloss black mirror mounts or did you paint yours?

Do you know the part number for the complete caravelle assembly?

Thinking of doing this myself but can’t find the complete set of parts for sale and I’m not confident of my ability to completely disassemble to paint

The upper and lower mirror case (half grey, half gloss black in your photo) is available from lots of retailers and either VW or aftermarket but I think the only option for the mount is to get the standard painted up in gloss at a body shop .
