Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Ha ha ha! Mrs JOG made the sneaky gin purchases! I have 6 x Hicks Cornish Ale, 4 x Skinners Lushingtons, 3 x Korev, 6 x Keltek Reaper, 2 x Proper Job and 5 x Exmoor Gold! I also have a fully paid-up membership of my local AA as they won’t last the week!!!

You've not brought any Proper Job with you? Turn around and go straight back to get some.

Crolly….famous for doll-making, believe it or not! An original “Crolly Dolly” now makes a small fortune. Get yourself over to Carrickfin - beautiful hidden beach! Gweedore tweed is world famous - if you pick yourself up a jacket, it will last you a lifetime! Not only Enya and Clannad, but also Daniel O’Donnell hails from nearby (though he is significantly more “plastic” than the Clannad crew!) A beautiful part of the world to holiday in, especially when you get the weather you’re getting! I very jealous - enjoy!!!
Went to Carrickfin on the first day and got parked on the headland just above the harbour. amazing spot for a swim and lunch. didnt really want to mention the Daniel O'Donnell element.

Ha ha ha….he’s bit of a joke but he’s also a multi-millionaire bit of a joke, so I guess he has the last laugh!!! Can you send me the name of the campsite you’re at? I’ll have to take the family over that way in the next year or two

Have to let me know what the Hicks is like as i saw it afew time's but didn't get a bottle...my go to down their was Tintagel Caliburn, dark ale.
The Hicks is very good - almost a winter ale though, so I’m saving them!

Have to mention it's adults only so depends on the ages of your family. Ian is rigid on this but it does mean it's quiet. Pub is about 300m down the road.
We will be back before the end of the year hopefully
On touring around we found plenty of places for wild camping too for later in the year

Thanks for that! Sorry, you did mention in an earlier post that it was adults only. Still, I’ll give them a bell and they could give some pointers on family sites!!!
