T'will be interesting to hear your thoughts on those Johnny, my under poptop lights aren't waterproof, but are most wonderful!Fitted a Set of waterproof led rope lights under pop top bought from Ali express.
24V RGB 5m 10m 20m 30m LED Neon Strip Light Bluetooth

COB lights should be betterer, but £55 for a 5m string, spensive!Don’t think they’re as bright as yours Wayne but not tested in the dark yet.

The COB lights are good because they are on a self adhesive tape, so there are no issues with the lid closing, we use some 3xAA battery ones on our guy ropes which is good at night as something to aim for when heading back to the van whilst under the affluence of incohol!@Drive Wayne @Rioja John - Funnily enough, I finally got around to getting a bigger distribution box to do my poptop lighting last week and am only now lacking the lights strips themselves. I won't have enough time do do anything for a while though because we're through the tunnel next Wednesday and will be away for a month. However, Mrs AJ came home from the local garden centre yesterday with a 20M string of tiny fairy lights powered by 3 X AA batteries so I promptly nicked them from her and am going to try them in the roof later today to see how they look. I know they probably won't be very bright in place under the roof but are surprisingly so when switched on in a darkened room so we will see. That said, I'm not wanting anything too bright as I don't really want to illuminate the surroundings as such or, indeed, under the roof itself - all I'm really wanting is a bit of gently flashing / twinkling bling and they might well do the job.
I'll report back at some point.
Perhaps make it the clear stuff!@Drive Wayne. No nothing as posh a pre-fitted tape but, yet again, mine are another example of why the gods gave us gaffer tape.
These look superb! Same or similar to my Mrs’s Golf R-Line…. very comfortable (especially when heated), but I’d definitely miss no armrest’s!?
I am already missing the arm rest. I am wondering if I can get the THQ one I already have fitted to the seat, but I do not really want to take the seat apart. I am considering a centre console. These look superb! Same or similar to my Mrs’s Golf R-Line…. very comfortable (especially when heated), but I’d definitely miss no armrest’s!?
