What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I had oxidation on my headlights from a bad resto or just cheap lights

I bought a cheap kit and did as the pack said as below

This on I did with the sanding disc on my drill - drill on slow and lots of sprayed wettedness and then the buffing pad with the cutting paste

This one I did by hand as the drill was a bit pants

So yeah, the oxidation is all gone and a coat of the spray left it lookin... okay. They're a bit hazy

Oh and while I'm here, i also installed some stubby mud guards (of no use at all other than it looks good)

Looking mighty fine there. The wheels wouldn't ordinarily be my thing butnthey really complement the paint colour.

Re the wheels, I get that a lot. I am in exactly the same camp as you. I have a longing for some 20" Navis Twins in matte bronze for her but need to sell these first and, in the interim, suffer the no wheels issue like @Skyliner33 the other week hehe

Did you use the Holts Headlight refurb kit? I used it and was less than impressed. The spray is just silicon spray so just washes off. Looks like you did ok with the sanding though.
I used 3M uv lens coating wipes to coat my lights and they look loads better.

don't forget to pack the Dyson!
Didn't she laugh when I showed her your message @Niall.b !
But then said please let Shawneen borrow it! She must think you both are wonderfull!
The Dyson Airwrap will be coming to the party! Apparently she can manage with her sub £400 hairdryer!
That's gonna cost you when you get back home!
Safe travels, see y'all in Malvern!
