Were yours pattern parts or original? My research suggests the OE ones had a metal wormmdrife in the adjuster whereas the pattern ones are plastic.

These are definitely plastic. Febi Bilstein Windscreen Washer Nozzle (181307) Front

A pair of used 5M0955985C9B9 for £8 from ebay. Straight swap, didn't even need tools to remove the old ones.

I've heard the pattern ones can be a bit variable, ranging from s**t to OK, so went for genuine ones, albeit used, for less cash. It’s not like they

Finally got front 25mm spacers on. Had to go see a friend who has a tyre business and it took many goes with the rattle gun and breaker bars much bigger than the one I had to get several wheel bolts off both fronts. He reckoned they took around 400 to 500nm to break free. Doubtful anyone would have changed that wheel by hand brace. It’s certainly made the handling much better.

No deal as such, but I can forgive that by how bad ass they look!!! plus the fact I can stop researching brand/make/load rating/tyre pressure blah makes it all the worthwhile…hope to offset some of the pain through the sale of my sportlines.

Also just want to say what a great site this is and thank all that provide guidance/knowledge/experience/photo’s.

Finally fitted my Ecoflow alternator charger. Bit more effort required than I thought but done, all dressed in, firmware updated and working as intended. Should help me keep on top of charge and I reckon I'm now just a fridge away from having the weekend warrior I always hoped it could be.

Keen to know whether fitting one of these interferes with the built in vw leisure battery charging system, or just works separately? I’m not confident around car electrics (especially given I’ve had terrible problems with some previous VWs re their electrics/infotainment woes)… is this a job for an auto electrician do you reckon?
