What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I'd like to be able to say I installed my renogy B2B/MPPT, neg bus bar, uber pos bus bar fuse board, routed my wired from driver seat to rear and routed a ac battery charger... in 7hrs... on my own....

But I cant. It was mostly @Bigsidavies and his absurd skills withba spanner and stanley knife, despite his disabily (LHS)

All thanks be to Si. Amazing progress
Si is a legend.

It’s nearly there. I think we spent more time looking for the Stanley knife and the ring terminals than we did actually fitting stuff. It was like an episode from the chuckle brothers.IMG_8743.webpbattery just dropped in to size up the bus bar connections before anyone says it’s not fastened down lol.

I'd consider putting a Sparesaver on it if I were you 👍

Had a trip up to Luke Stevens Developments and treated the van to a Pendle engine and gearbox remap. Very pleased with the results :think smile bounce: . Would certainly recommend them to others (big thumbs up) - very helpful nice setup. Had a look at their race cars there before disappearing off to La Hogue Farm Shop for an awesome cooked breakfast :) whilst they finished it off.
Hi. I'm visiting Luke next month for the same thing. How are you finding the remap still?

Finally fitted the Lagun table leg. Table is the top of my kitchen pod and the plate slides into two aluminum French cleats I got off amazon. Perfect fit and only 6mm deep so don't foul on the cooker lid.
Modified an IKEA shoe rack thingy to hang under the arm.
We've got an extension arm but waiting till we go to Sweden next month to pick up the pivot pin as we couldn't find one in the UK.

@Vroomfondel looks great! How have you attached the curved piece of wood with the mount onto the B pillar?
Cheers, just drilled through the bracket holes in the lower and left 3 holes and used M8 rivnuts. I've used an angle bracket for the top right hole. The board is only attached with the Lagun bolts at the moment. Not sure if I'm happy with the shape of the board so it's easy to change.
Going to see if it is strong enough on the next trip. If necessary I'll add some extra fixings to the board/ B pillar.
I wanted the leg to be away from the door so I could get the shoe rack in.

Temporarily mounted a new USB socket to replace the redundant chair lift thing that my van came with. Pretty simple even for me with no electricity skills. New socket too big for the bracket hole, so will enlarge it in due course and refit.
