I have factory swivels in this van . I have tried previous after market swivels in my old van . Rib & rusty lee .Which front swivel bases did you go for? 8 keep looking at these but never pull the trigger, not worried about the height more the movement or squeaking
Alternatively, you could fit it to Van Guard Ulti Bars. Worked for me. I too did not wish to drill holes in the van and glue on brackets.Fantastic looking van! Do you mind telling me what roof rack that is? I bought a Fiamma F45s for my 4Motion Caravelle, which arrived today; unfortunately, I didn't read the description properly, and it turns out it needs to be fixed in place with SilkaFlex, which makes it pretty much a permanent feature of the van. I'd planned to add a roof rack in the near future, but may have to accelerate that purchase so I can use my new awning![]()
But if the spacing is wrong it can be a FAIL.Although plates per se aren't a testable item.
Must get round to doing this.Went to local weighbridge today to have the van (T32 LWB) weighed.
Front Axle - 1420kgs
Rear Axle - 1040kgs
Van - 2520kgs ( Includes R & R bed including cupboards and underbuilt fridge, plus storage shelves, plus poptop and a full tank of diesel)
Try it when loaded with beer! You might need an up-plate!Went to local weighbridge today to have the van (T32 LWB) weighed.
