That’s really good! You could hang a gag-ball in the same leather from your rear view mirror!
Mickey-taking aside, that’s a lovely bit of prep before the stereo goes in. Well done

Looks really, really good! You should be proud of that work
Yes I'm really chuffed with all the mods that I have attempted so far thanks, I'm 53 and up until now the most I had ever done to a vehicle was check the oil and change a wheel ( once ). I didn't even own any tools but since getting our Bus 8 months ago and joining the forum I've really got the bug, wanted a Caravelle for years and was totally happy with it for a week, then I looked on here for advice on when to change the cambelt and I am now well on the way to £8000 worth of mods, I'm lovin bus life

You seriously thinking of doing the cam belt yourself? I’m 55 and never dabbled in mechanics at all (to the extent that I now rely on others, even thought I regard myself as “handy” at diy!)

No chance mate, I had it done at a local VW specialist, water pump also done same time, I'm only doing basic stuff with the help of youtube and the forum for advice and inspiration

This morning I received some new ply panels so this afternoon I started lining them….24137937-7365-439E-90DF-475EA8330780.jpeg
Tried using Harrison hidden clips but the finish didn’t look good so reverted to some through hole clips instead. Just the back two panels left to do now!
