What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I’ve had a very productive day today visited CRS to have my 20” wheels changed and suspension altered and fitted 17” Devonports that I bought months ago from a T6 member.
Gone from this.

Then I called around @Drive Wayne to pick up a Victron 100/30 MPPT solar controller that I have bought from him, which I’ve installed.

I’ve also installed my Chinese kitchen pod .

Just awaiting an electronic usb tap from Temu then the kitchen is finished.

Is the wheel change just a preference or were you finding it a hard ride, etc ?

@doncarlyon The wheel change was for our forthcoming winter trip to Spain as the 17” wheels had all season tyres fitted, I was going to have the 20” restored but have decided to keep the 17” on.
We had new suspension fitted last year at CRS and the ride with 20” was superb, on the 20” my Speedo was reading 5mph less than you were really doing but now the 17” my Speedo is spot on.

I put a new digitiser on my head unit as it’s been getting gradually worse over the last few months. Used the guide on here and it was easy.
Also repaired the little lever that moves the air vent up and down/left and right as the front had come off.
I then removed the little cab roof light/stowage thing and clipped it all together properly. It’s never quite sat right since the pop top was fitted 5 years ago. All good now.
Tidies the interior out and sorted my tinned food stash ready for a mountain biking trip to the Lakes and Glentress on Thursday until Sunday.

That’s a nice kitchen pod! Can I ask where you got it from / do you have a link please?

Done a few jobs this week.
Fitted the Rusty Lee double sliding swivel passenger seat and swivel drivers seat with lowered hand brake.

Also finally got round to getting the 8" Alpine door speakers allowing me to get rid of the huge 12" subwoofer box and freeing up the space behind the drivers seat. Sound is so much better now.

Full lights, levels, pressures and tread check in readiness for going away next week.

Noticed the first hint of barely visible age cracking on the sidewalls, the main downside of a low mileage vehicle. Still, theyre 5 years old so are coming to the end of their safe life and it's to be expected. Ample tread remaining, 7 odd mm, but that's secondary once they get close to the recommended 6 year safe limit.

So that's 4 new tyres for me come the first sunshine of spring.
