What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Had my Claytons fitted, the wolfrace alloys removed.

Gave the inside a clean up, wiped the furniture down, hoovered up.

Just needs a wash now.

custom cargo /storage net brackets (net and bottom mount points don't exist yet ;) )

Original holes have been used. No drilling (top priority for me) at all.

Second part of project "custom cargo net behind the second row of the seats" - not fully completed yet.

I don't have a good idea I would be happy with on how to hang the net from the ceiling without drilling.
The existing holes don't fit the standard dimensions of the rivet nuts (at least the ones I have). Ideas / suggestions are more than welcome.

TIA

Inspired by many others before fitted this.

It is test fit pending black B pillars and good job as well it needs to go a few mm to the right as I’ve a shuttle with factory door cards and it just catches.

Hi Archersam, do you have to trim the top off the outer frame? The ones I’ve seen seem to have a curved top to them?

Also how do you then secure them the the Van trim panel and support them enough to take a full drink?

Could you put a piece of aluminium attached at the top on each side?

After 2 years of re-painting my front end fiamma F45s cap I have ordered a new cap from Fiamma, £47 including postage! (Didn't realise Fiamma is based in Stourbridge).
I thought I would just try a test removal of the 3 screws holding the cap, they are indeed seized solid. I tried the 'rubber band approach', nope.
Ordered a screw removal set which should be delivered today, and also a tube of Copaslip.
@moomin-j , do you remember the length of those No. 8 Pozipan screws you used? I might as well get those at the ready too.
Thanks mate, there's another £60 you owe me I reckon!!
@Drive Wayne

Bought a few different lengths, prior tp strip down, from these nice folk:

But after stripping down this was the length of the internal screw (sadly can't remember what size the other 2 were - sorry):

Good luck - hope all goes well....

But anyway good luck and post how you get on
Just ordered 10 of the required screws for the F45s Fiamma end cap, All details attached, £7.49 delivered by RM.
Only need 3, plenty of time to lose the spares...
The newer recommendation has Torx head rather than the crosshead I now have to try to remove... joy!

While I'm on the Fiamma, it can rattle like a rattly thing on rough roads, one of our guitar techs at work has a seamstress mother who 6 months ago I asked to make me a pair of socks for the legs when in the Fiamma cowling.
They fit a treat, great job.
She doesn't want orders, she's too busy!
If anyone wants the measurements let me know!

I put sticky back foam strips inside the metal casing to stop the rattles

Got a few jobs ticked off over the last couple day.
- Changed out my front parking camera.
- Got my projector hook up finalized. Just got to complete the iPad hook up.
- Installed small Sumvision movie and mp3 player and hooked up to my head unit.
