I’ve been in and reset it to the default setting of 4 just now. Still not sure if it’s doing anything.

Take regular SB voltage readings when the van has been sitting unused. Do you have a Bluetooth battery monitor installed?
THQ selling black and carbon badges cheap. They were on the THQ WhatsApp group.This morning I’ve updated the rear lights and side repeaters to LED in Black Smoke as it’s in keeping with the van. LED headlights are on the list for next month.
For now I’m just searching for Black VW badges for the van.

Have you got the instructions that came with it? They tell you what the lights mean. Mine isn’t charging at the moment as the SB is at 12.6ish and the LED on the AMT flashes red every 10secs or so. I seem to remember it flashes green when charging. I’d just leave it and see how it goes. If you have a way of monitoring you LB you will see it drawing about 3A every 10 secs or so for about 3 secs when it is doing its stuff.
My AMT is currently working and has been for the last 8 days since I drove the van last.
Out of interest I asked the mighty Cerbo to give me data for the last hour.
You can see the SB (green) fluctuating a bit around 12.3v, but no real sign of anything from the LB(purple).
Was that added via VCDS?
Take it for a spin, get that SB voltage up! Then see what happens to the AMT as the SB voltage gets lower.
Have you checked the SB voltage at the battery itself and at the AMT? Is the shunt SB voltage definitely correct?
What is the LED on the AMT doing?
LED was flashing red once every 10 seconds. I’ve not tested the SB voltage, I’ll compare them tomorrow.
Could the SB be below 11.5v? The LB is probably above 13v, the manual says it would flash red.
The red and amber are pretty similar. Reading the instructions in your post mine must be flashing amber rather than red.
I’m wondering if the shunt is showing the wrong SB voltage and it is actually higher so the AMT isn’t kicking in. A quick check with a multimeter will confirm that.
I’ve checked the victron shunt reading and the starter battery with a multimeter and they are the same. I guess maybe I’ll find out if it’s working at the spring break if I’m parked up for the weekend with all the coming and going. If the starter battery doesn’t die (like it did at he summer camp last year) then I’ll know that the AMT is doing its thing.
