What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

More for my van than done to it. Bought RAC cover; tried all the options and these came out best for the chosen level of cover taking into account Cashback. The cover cost £157, the cashback through Quidco is £63. Therefore I’ll be paying under £100. Happy with that, and some peace of mind before heading off to Scotland next Thursday.

Second attempt at the under seat board, this time with a MIDI fuse block doubling as the busbar.

My initial plan was to replace the Autoterm 25A fuse with a midi, but then realised it has a fuse on the negative as well. Anyone know why, or if this is needed?

Bench also now gone to a new home so I can re-fit the passenger Captain seat and safe base

I can also finish the roof insulation with fleece etc before the ply panels.

Oak floor next and maybe the Renogy solar panel on roof if it warms up soon.

At a local independent garage here in Swindon - Dellers Garage. The two mechanics both drive a transporter. When they put the diagnostics computer back on it this morning the EGR fault had come back but the warning light hadn’t come on. The new EGR should get a good run in next week with a 1000 mile round trip to Kenmore in Scotland.
I know Kenmore very well and spent a huge chunk of my life staying up there.
Pm me for information on a an amazing secret hermits cave built into the hillside with a beautiful waterfall across from it.
It’s a fantastic walk

Thanks Gordon. You shared that info with me when I was there last but we didn’t get to check it out. We’ll try again this time. The forecast isn’t looking very cheerful (by English standards).

Yeh I’ve not kept tabs on who I’ve shared information with.
Definitely worth going.
Weather looks not too bad for Scotland this time of year
Hope you have a great trip

Put my new 300ah leisure battery on 1st major test, since purchase. Hooked up my Alpicool 65ltr fridge/freezer on load and chilling down the first of many kegs for Spring Camp. So far so good with battery. I will see what state it is in tomorrow morning.
Wow, you'll get a load of veggie samosas in that Alpicool @BoroBoy !
What battery is that 300Ah?
