What Have You Bought Today?

You need lecky seats with memory function , perfect everytime
Button 1 - my driving position
Button 2 - wife's driving position
Button 3 - correctly positioned for swivelling the seat while clearing the steering wheel etc etc .
Flash! Some of us have poverty models, fortunately wifey and I share the same seat set up!

Today I’ve bought the 2 year all-in service plan that’s currently on offer, a USB socket (of the CBE variety) and some spade connectors so I can install the AMT-12 I ordered last weekend.

I definitely don’t have a growing pile of things waiting to be installed 🙈

Add it to the list of things in the confessional. ! 😂

Pretty good Black Friday deal on at Halfords (tools, cleaning stuff etc.), I've just bought a Halfords 2 ebike tow bar mounted carrier, half price.
The website is bit overfaced, so you have to used guest check out or you get stuck in a loop!

The trouble with a cut like that might be that it's difficult to see how deep it actually is but it would be worth seeking an expert opinion. This is mine which the experts both reckoned was not as bad as it looked but when I zoom in on the picture, I still can't help worrying (hence I'll probably look for another wheel before the next big trip).

Further to the above, this is both a what have you bought and a where have you been post because this morning I started the van for the first time in 6 weeks and drove the 130 odd miles to West Bromwich and back to pick up what turned out to be a near pristine Devonport to replace the one that hit a rock when we were in Croatia earlier this year (as pictured above). The original deal was for a Devopnport with a worn but legal tyre for £100 and I was planning on getting my local tyre guy to switch current Agilis Cross Climate over to the new wheel. As it turned out (and by happy coincidence), he also had a used steel wheel with a nearly new Agilis Cross Climate in the same size as mine and for another £20 he agreed to switch that one over to the new Devonport, balance it and put it on the van so I drove home with the new to me wheel and tyre fitted and a serviceable (but slightly damaged) Devonport and tyre in the back of the van in case they’re ever needed in the future. There's no point in a picture as the van (and wheels) was filthy when I got home due to it raining throughout the whole drive home on the M5.
The down side is that on my way up there this morning the amber check light reappeared followed about 20 miles later by the '650 miles remaining' adblue warning. I'll put a separate post up about those once I've refreshed my memory from the last time they appeared (and disappeared again!).

Bluetti Elite 100 V2 arrived and I’m pleased to report that it fits nicely into the Milwaukee Packout Cabinet that I bought for it to go into.

Just need to cut some vents into the sides & back of it, fix it to a Packout mounting plate in the van and we’re good to go ⚡

Having often admired Rob & Linda's (@Jollyvan) Crafter 'northern lights' screen cover, I was tempted when Rob put his T6 version up for sale. As it didn't match my colour scheme or my van's theme, I resisted and, instead, ordered my own custom design from the same supplier, Custom Camping.

It wasn't cheap, but it's a quality item and I'm not regretting my decision...
