I'm in the process of converting my van and have just a had a pop top fitted, which means I can no longer use my conclelld c-channel awning rail. I wanted to upgrade anyway to a pull-out awning but I won't be able to purchase one for a while, as I'm short on funds. I currently always have a drive-away awning that I want to use in the meantime, but i'm not sure what awning rail to get that i can use with this and then eventually use with a pull-out awning.
I have been looking at the stitches and steel multi rail that looks pretty good, as well as the Reimo and the Vamoose, I'm not sure of the differences really across the three different products. Pull out awning wise i was looking at the Thule Omnistor or a Fiamma, again not sure of the main differences other than the Thule looked low profile. I eventually want some side panels for the awning and both seem to do them, but Thule had the option of some angled side panels that I liked the look of.
Any advice on a good solution or the pro's and cons would be great, i'm going to self install as well if that makes a diference to the type of product as well.
Thanks!
