One of the very few bands where the drummer is as well known as the lead singer and will be sorely missed. Most other bands you wouldn’t even recognise the drummer or notice if they did a switcheroo.

@Rioja John. Brilliant shout on Sensational Alex Harvey Band - you're obviously nearly as old as me! I've not even thought about them for years but back in the day saw them live quite a few times - most memorably, at Charlton in 1976 when they were on the bill headlined by The Who. Little Feat were also playing - now there was a band to be reckoned with. Being the anorak that I am, I've still got the ticket stub somewhere!
