Swamper wheels with 5sp Gearbox

I currently have 20" 275/35/20 wheels on my van which has a 5Speed box. I find the small increase in rolling diameter a concern when tying to pull away when towing my car trailer. The concern is putting too much torque / judder through the 5speed box.

I would like to change to 18" swamper wheel which have an even larger rolling diameter and will put more strain on the gearbox.

Has anyone put large swamper wheels on a T6 with a 5speed box, and is it ok?

have you towed that trailer with stock circumference tyres?
you say even larger swamper wheels, but what size tyre were you thinking of.

I have 255/55r18's on my 2021 110hp 5speed and tbh it drives fine. Definitely get it remapped by pendle when it's out of warranty just for a bit more midrange when going around scotland but more than happy to put up with it for another 2 years as is
