VW should consider this as a Transporter colour. I love it - much better than RAC orange too
Is that van a single colour? At the front it looks like it fades from darker to lighter, but that could just be the lighting. Awesome colour either way.

If it was real it would probably be a pearlescent paint

I wish they were available last month, after so much consideration, I bought some bronze alloys. But these look great! Tempted to sell mine for a set of these in black

I’m looking at getting some new Supermetal wheels for my 2019 T32 kombi.

My question is will they fit and if so with what size tyre?

They are 20” 9j et 45 and the van is lowered 55mm on H&R springs.

Any help would be much appreciated

No problem, 255/40/20 will be perfect but you might need to go to 265/40/20 to get the load rating that a T32 needs which is 103 or 104, either way both tyre sizes will be good.

Hi mate. Did you get your tridents ? I’m buying the same now - did you buy 265 ? Any probs ?
Thanks.

Looking at similar advice and options for my T32.
Recently purchased the van and was told it was lowered by 40mm but the gap looks high to me or it needs bigger wheels. Too much of a gap. Front has about 3” gap and back about 4” gap
Can’t see any markings on spring but will check better when not raining.

It’s currently on load rated 18” Amarok wheels with 245/45/18 100Y tyres but don’t think the tyres are correct rating as 100 and should be 103 at least so could do with changing anyway.

From other threads I see 265/40/20 tyres may be an option. If correct are these good to go all round with no rubbing or do I also need any spacers.
What spec of wheels would I need to look for also 8j, 9j offsets etc. not clued up on that stuff but just so I know what to look for as options.
Also both wheels and tyres need to be load rated for the T32 van which may limit options.
Currently seems quite hard ride but I guess tyre rating is a stiffer side wall also with a T32 tyre rating.
Basically looking for best options, what size wheels and tyres 19” 20” ? I need to look for in black £900 ish mark not going too crazy

Thanks

The 245/45/18 are definately a little on the small side. If you go for 265/40/20 which are available in the correct load rating (most are 104 I think) that will work. The difference between the diameter of the 2 tyres above is 40mm so you'll close the arch gap by 20mm, see how it looks then and decide the next move.vt51_a.jpg
Alot of people use 275/40/20 but these are too big. An offset of around 38 - 42 will be nice. I'm running 255/40/20 on 20X9 ET42 lowered 100mm with 15mm spacer on the rear and no rubbing but its close !
If your springs are on standard shocks I'd recommend you get quality uprated shocks like Koni short sports or Bilstein B8. 20's, lower springs and standard shocks are not great at all.

Been looking at these wheels and tyres deals with LV Parts (part of Leighton Vans)
I`m just querying with them what size tyres they send at the moment

Anyone had any experience with them, looks like they should know what will fit as dealing in transporter stuff and send out a staggered set

Contains:
4x LV-2 Alloy Wheels
1x Fitting Kit (locking wheel nut set included)

Specification:
- A staggered set - 8.5x20" Front Wheels / 10x20" Rear Wheels
- 5x120 PCD
- ET45 Front
- ET38 Rear
- Load rate of 860kg per wheel

looking further on what they have the budget tyre appears to be as follows.
RoadX RXMotion U11 275/40 R20 Tyres
Product Code: TYRE-BUDGET

Is this size an issue do you think as i`ve been reading a lot about this at minute and few recommend not going above 265/40/20

I can't believe good companies like these are still peddling 275/40/20 especially all round on staggered rims !! 275/40/20 on an 8.5" rim is downright wrong. Yours is a T32 so youre caught with tyre load rating of 103. 265/40/20 would be best but they're a little stretched on the back and a little wide on the front. I'd consider a non staggered/square set up on 20X9 with 265/40/20 103

Thanks for the advice. They did admit they would be some slight rubbing on front at carpark speeds... puts me off altogether. It`s a mine field looking for best options. I`ve started looking into 19" wheels as an option now to see if they are a better option.

They also said with 20” wheels they don’t send out wheels and tyres with tpms and basically need to code it out as it causes problems
Basically said the system isn’t designed for 20 inch wheels and it sends it into mass confusion so its just deleted to negate this.
You can get system re coded yes but without the 20 inch wheels fitted if this make sense.
So that’s something else to deal with if I go 20. Not a big deal so may look at your recommendation of 20X9 with 265/40/20 103
I’ve got Carista and hope I can do it with that
Thanks
Good video by the way

Just Found these on another site for £1137.60 new which I’m considering
Delivered, balanced, valves etc
9X20 WOLFRACE 71 VENOM BLACK EDITION GLOSS RAVEN BLACK
265/40R20 IMPERIAL ECOSPORT2 104Y XL

Before I pull the trigger on these, will these work ok and / or do I need spacers
Cheers

Whats the offset ? you dont want the rear ones looking to skinny so spacers might be an option. ET 35 will fill the arch more than ET 42
