Pressure washer, is it safe?

I've got a Nilfisk pressure washer, just about to unbox it, hadn't got it to clean the van but wondered if it might be a goer, I think I can adjust the power of it.

The model I have is 'Nilfisk C-PG 130.2-8 Xtra 130 Bar Compact'

just stand further back and don't use it point blank your be fine

As above, stand back a bit just be careful if its a work van with sign writing

My pressure washer is 130bar. Agree with all the posts above. I've always found that an effective (and safe) detergent mix is of equal importance to jet wash pressure. (i.e. Let the detergent do the work rather than blasting dirt off at a close distance if you see what I mean). Plenty of best practice tutorials on YouTube etc.

A snowfoam lance is well worth getting; really loosens the dirt.

130 bar should get most stuff off but you'll still need to use a mitt to wash off the grime.

Wait till you've driven on salty /gritted roads then spray under, shouldn't need much spraying underside at the mo. How old is the van?
