Pioneer Stereo Stop Start Issue

Had a new stereo-fitted Pioneer SPHDA160DAB) it's driving me insane every time I stop at lights (only when stop-start is active the stereo restart) odd times it doesnt go off but most of the time it does It's very frustrating especially if using sat nav. I am not sure how this has been fitted I was told it may need connecting to a live. The guy that fitted this tried this but it's not resolved the issue.

If it has the correct fitting kit it'll need a voltage stabiliser which will need plugging in to the stereo loom. Doesn't effect most units but my Pioneer Evo 94 had to have one in my caddy for the same issue

Do you have a part number by any chance please?

I have the same issue with my kenwood dmx5020dabs. It's been a nightmare. I tried to fix the issue myself with some capacitors and diode but that didn't work. In the end I paid £65 for a voltage stabilizer and it still doesn't work correctly. It's better, but not fixed. It tends work three times and goes off on the fourth stop/start. Sometimes it doesn't work at all? I then tried cutting the live from the quadlock harness and getting a live from the fuse box that works with the first click of the key. It seems to work more often, but still not fixed the issue. Add this to issues with dab, usb, steering wheel control and reverse camera, it's been a nightmare. All the other issues have now been sorted.
