i have a pioneer head unit and the stop start turn the unit off when it restarts. Very annoying. Is there a known fix for this?
How do you stop the stop start killing your aftermarket head unit?

Pioneer Stereo Stop Start Issue
Had a new stereo-fitted Pioneer SPHDA160DAB) it's driving me insane every time I stop at lights (only when stop-start is active the stereo restart) odd times it doesnt go off but most of the time it does It's very frustrating especially if using sat nav. I am not sure how this has been fitted I...
Alternatively buy one of these and do away with the annoying stop start all together

If the safety belt is not fastened, the automatic start&stop system will not work normally. Even if the brake is released or the oil door is stepped on, the engine will not restart. If they fail to turn off the system once, they will not turn on the frequent operation again by default.
