Mk7 Golf R steering wheel problems

Im currently having some problems with my new steering wheel, iv ordered a Golf R steering wheel with ACC. I have ACC on my van, the steering wheel that came with my can works perfectly fine. Iv asked around and they said change the airbag wiring loom which i have done. Then i noticed a button that was different on the ACC side of the golf r steering wheel. I went and brought the exact same buttons configuration from germany which i have now fitted. However nothing works still. Has anyone encountered this problem? Any solutions?


This is currently with all the buttons changed to what was on the original steering wheel.


This is how i got the MK7 golf r steering wheel, if you can see the button above the volume up is different to the original steering wheel.

No idea sorry ,I just took my buttons off my original wheel and fitted to the new one .

I dont no either mine worked fine when i transferred the loom from my airbag to the Gti wheel, but i dont have ACC .

Yes same as yours with acc on the wheel ,

No buttons are working but everything lights up.

It has got to be to do with air bag wiring loom.
There are a couple of company's on Facebook who do steering wheels

Please mate, paid alot of money for this wheel and we need to see how we can solve this so that everyone who has ACC can change their steering wheel

Just fitted my wheel today DSG and all works. My t6 is the Euro 5 so no acc my cc is on tha stalk. Just a stab in the dark but I assume you have connection both plugs from air ban one large yellow and a small black that plugs into the left hand buttons.

Iv just got new wheel mk7 put on and no acc and glow plugs flashing any ideas

Put old one back on as my partner drives and says she uses acc as it drives its self lol
And start stop error comes up but its feels so good
