Hi I have a t6 with a standard steering wheel no buttons , I have changed it to a golf mark 7 wheel with buttons and cc but is it possible to wire them up to work correctly and cc to work as it’s currently not got it . Wiring diagrams would be handy and pin locations if possible please

Correct. I'm afraid that's the only way - need to get correct buttons anyways. The Golf 7 buttons do not work for T6.
Then the cruise control is just a simple coding tweak in a couple of controllers - see below

Disclaimer - use this information at your own peril - I may have got things wrong. I am hoping this "how to" will be a one stop place for all the information, owners of poverty spec, 2019, EU6, T6's need, to fit a multi function steering wheel (MFSW) and to enable the cruise control system...
Mfsw Upgrade From Non Button Wheel
Have replaced the plastic non function wheel on trendline with a MFSW fro Highline .. see photo
You can activate ccs on a startline with no stalks or MFSW.
You will need to swap out the buttons for ones from a T6 and buy the correct airbag loom.
Then install a few wires from the plug behind the wheel.
One goes to the light switch for power. One goes to BCM in dash up behind pedals and last one goes into engine bay and to a plug under the battery beside the ECU for the ccs.
Then your ecu will need coded to accept the MFSW.
All the correct pins and where to attach the wires too are explained with pics on the threads above.
There’s loads of info on here about it.
