How to fit Dubflecta wind-deflectors

Has anyone had any issues when fitting these wind deflectors?

I cannot push the clips in far enough to stop them catching on the window.

The window also rubs on them when closing but hay may have something to do with not being able to push the clips in properly?

Any tips?

No issues fitting here. The window does rub against the deflector when closing but it hasn't bothered me.

I used a wide trim tool to push the clips in as far as they would go. One like this

Thanks, I will give it another go tomorrow. It was getting dark when trying to fit them today.

I assume the clips need a good hard shove.

Yep, and the barbs on the clips face towards the rubber.

I got my dubflectas 13 days from purchase. Put both on then yesterday passenger side fell out. Driver side fine.
Have you professionals any top tips for the newbies ?

Did you use the clips provided?

Yes I did. 4 either side. Drivers side absolutely fine although I do have concerns the same will happen

Next question where the barbs on the clips facing into the interior?

Haha Northern monkey.
I’ve done it exactly the same as the drivers side.
I’ve looked at it and I can’t see any other difference then these clips don’t stick like the drivers side.

Strange that one then maybe try moving the clips elsewhere? Mine have never moved since fitting them.

Still no joy, so I’ll pop some silicone on it when it’s dry.

When you say dropping out is it pulling down when you open the window?

It’s not being pulled down. As soon as I pull the window down. The thing just falls out of place. It doesn’t drop a few mm. It falls to the ground.

Ask for a refund. My passenger one kept falling out until I used silicone on it.
