Hi All
Hello from Northern Ireland. I am relatively new to all this so learning as I go along. We do a lot of mountain biking and surfing so I was hoping to install an outside shower to wash down the bikes and ourselves etc. I had considered the portable showers with an underslung gas tank but to be honest getting LPG gas here in Ireland and NI is tricky enough so decided to give that a miss. I have purchased a Webasto heat exchanger with mixer tap to get hot water pumped to the rear of the van while running the engine but am just wishing to know if I would require an expansion tank when the shower is not in use but the engine is pumping hot coolant through the exchanger. Will the water in the fresh water pipes start to heat up and eventually boil? I really dont have enough room for a hot water tank insude the van as its a SWB T6. Hoping you guys can help.
