Edition style side decals

Hi all. We have just bought privately a T6 Cali Beach. It's only a few months old. One of the things we like about her is the Edition style de-calls down the sides. Not factory fitted, but fitted through VW dealership before previous owners took possession.
Unfortunately I've noticed some of the de-cals are starting to lift at the edges!
Firstly will they come off without damaging the paintwork?
Secondly, would anyone recommend getting the effect sprayed on?? Cheers

My business specialises in Caravans and Motorhomes, and as part of this, we are always removing decals. In my line of work, there is few Do's and Don't depending on the material we are working with (Fibreglass, GRP, Aluminums etc) But with a standard painted van like yours, a very gingerly applied bit of heat from nothing stronger than the waft of a hairdryer, so the decals are warm to the touch, and they will peel off nicely.
As for spraying back on, i'd just get the same decals put back on by a sign writer that knows what they are doing.
In my experience. decals will only lift if they haven't been applied correctly, and it's common for people to touch the sticky side of the decal and leave a fingerprint that will lift quite easily after a short period of time.

I'm looking for genuine edition decals for my red t6..... or very good replicas.... got some off Ebay but not right

Although I don't have them on my van anymore, I got my local sign writer to replicate the Edition decals off an image. They did a really nice job, and the quality was fantastic.

You will be able to get a complete kit from vw. They will come pre cut on application tape ready to fit. Give the parts dep a call, you never know.... If you can find a current owner with the exact same Edition as you're trying to replicate they may assist with their VIN number (same wheelbase and rear door as yours, decal colour) But they won't be cheap!

Cant find the edition 30 on the system but the rear most section only without lettering is over a hundred quid and the edition version (not E30) is just shy of £300 for the one piece !!!!

You could speak to tourershines sign people, they will have it on file and it's easy to adjust the design to your requirements and then post it to you?

Problem I'm having is sign writers want to do them in one piece and trim on the vehicle where as the originals are individually done....

Looking to put a grey/silver edition style stripe on the side of a deep black pearl van anyone done it and got pics?
