Hi Steve, they are glued and bolted with stainless bolts, not too much glue, only enough to seal and cover holes or you will be doing a lot of clean up:thumbsup:

Just found this in pphoto archivves, a 'Boot POD' we created approx 10 years ago. The clamps allow the lid to be securely fastened when not in use, it folds out to a full bed. We do them differetly now.

Me neither, customer requirements drove the design, and it worked out well in the end. Bespoke design and build always has challenges however. ;)
Never seen a layout like that before
I quite like it to be fair , makes sense rather nice amount of space n storage. Great for 2 people that don’t require rear seats . I also like the U shape designs knocking around .

Yes this was for 2 people so works perfectly. U shape are all good and we often get asked for these styles, however most people want to carry passengers safely and are unaware that while the U shapes are practicable, they are not safe to carry rear passengers. Safety gets in the way sometimes but we must abide by it.

Ah, so you have an edgebanding machine, interesting.
I will probably be looking for some replacement cupboard doors sometime next year as I have managed to damage a couple of mine and really want to avoid knock-on trim.
