Discovery media stereo issues

Hi all, my head unit has been having issues with nothing working on the touch screen, iv read all about it on here saying the digitaliser needs replacing. Iv got it booked in with vw on Monday for them to look at it. Iv seen on a Facebook thread on a t6 group that someone has had there’s replaced with the all In warranty. Has anyone on here had there’s replaced with a warranty?
Iv been told they will charge me £120 to look at it give it a software update to see if it works again

100% software won't fix that, can't comment on warranty.

If you want it fixing we charge £229 to repair it £399 to replace

2018 headunit replaced on All-In warranty!

Hi all, iv had issues regarding my head unit not responding to touch. I booked it in to vw and they told me a software update will probably sort it but knowing from all the threads on here I knew it needed a new digiltizer screen. Got a phone call today Saying that vw uk have given the go ahead...

Great forum. First time posting here.
My infotainment screen is intermittently freezing. Screen won't respond and neither will the buttons. If I turn the van off and on it will generally come back to life. Turning the power to the screen on/off does not fix it.
It is the Discover Media satellite navigation system.

OEM Headunit Problems [Merge]

Today the discover media system rebooted 3 or 4 times within about 20 mins of driving. At the time the nav was displaying and sd card music playing. Thought it might have been a corrupt music file but I couldn't repeat the problem so ruled that out and It hasn't done it again?? Anyone...
