We drink wine from a box if we can find it in the stores. Easy to store and saves space (not storing 3xbottles). If your worried about who see's it fill your glass inside the van before sitting outside....................... Personally I could not give a s1ht who see it.

I just find the boxes very dangerous. You open a bottle, drink it, go to bed. But a 3litre wine box…..

We never even discussed 3200Kg when they uprated my T28 to 3000Kg and I didn't think about it at the time. That said (and as previously posted) I now know that even fully loaded for a long european trip including bikes, awnings and 2 tubs of human lard we still have plenty of extra capacity for any duty free stuff that we might want to bring home so it doesn't really matter.

When you get uprated do they provide a new VIN plate? Where does this go and is it stuck or riveted on?

@Tiggy1955. They did supply a new VIN plate (silver sticky back plastic) which I stuck in the driver door frame. IIRC, the two rules are that the old one has to be left in place unobscured and the new one has to be easily visible. To my simple mind, the obvious place should have been next to the old one but there's nowhere there to stick it.

The van weight engineering one is slightly bigger than that, nicely aluminiumised, stuck in the same place and re-stuck, it wanted to get away!

The only English girlfriend that I ever had (more than 3 decades ago) shockingly was consuming a full box a day together with her tent-mate.
About weights, (to stay ...on topic )
the two girls together would have weighed maybe 90 kg total gross weight, tent included. So I guess that for a 120kg animal like me a full box it is doable.
I wouldn't do that, unfortunately I was in a Pelfort beer period at the time. Never brought one back home, though, alcohol test was still not strict in France and almost unhead of in Italy.
