If it flies, floats or f***s then it's cheaper and far less hassle to rent it.

Quite funny why they say the two happiest days of boat ownership are the day you buy it and the day you sell it ?!
It really is true. I owned a big sailing dinghy for a few years, I loved using it but almost cried tears of joy as it was towed away when selling. Odd really as I had no regrets and lost no money on it but your statement above struck a chord.
