Van is going to need the brakes doing in the near future. I've just had a look on the VW website and it shows me prices for vans over 3 years but not under. Front disc and pads : £365+vat Rear disc and pads : £335+vat So my question is has anyone had brakes replace before being 3 years old...

The last couple of times I’ve started my T6 the “Brakes Workshop” indication has shown on the centre display on the dash but as soon as I start the engine it clears, the brakes seem normal with the van ,I have searched for this issue but can’t find anything, thanks in advance

I've got a 2016 Shuttle with approx 18500 miles on. Anyway had new tyres a couple of months ago while a brake check Inc. kwik fit said the fronts were ok but rears was about 60-70% worn. So today the bus went into VW for some other work and I got them to check and they said fronts pads 60%...

I am wanting to paint my brake calipers while they are new and clean. To do this job I will want to remove the brake pads, Caliper & hanger (not as far as disconnecting the hose though). Can anyone tell me what the correct torque settings will be upon re-assembly? Thanks.

Why would anybody know the part numbers for front and rear brake pads for my t6

Hi Chaps, Just picked up my T6 Sportline kombi. Great van and very happy but noticed the brakes sounds like pads are worn out. Do they have sensors for when worn and or low? I'm a little miffed as I bought from VW. Cant seem to find out in the booklet. Cheers

Is it me or does it look like I need new pads? Not got a warning light but it sounds loud when I brake.

Had my T6 nearly a week now and the alloys are starting to look rather dusty off the brake pads. Has anyone changed them to something similar to ebc red stuff? Doesn't look like they do them for the T6 yet.

Hi, i want to paint the callipers on my T6 and would welcome any advice and tips, also not totally sure on the colour yet? The wheels are wolfrace assassins , Black with polished tips and the van is oryx white.

Hi, rather than painting my brake callipers I would prefer the plastic type covers that clip /glue on. Has any one found any and used them. Just looking for recommendations. Thanks

Had a wander round the stock vans at the vw van center when i called in the other day, it was the first time i noticed the bigger brakes on the 180/204. looks like 4 pots with big discs filling the rims. is it just the 180/140 have these as my loner 140 dont ?
