You know you're in lockdown when...

....you crack open a pair of spare (failed) drl units from Travelin lite and replace the gubbins with an indicator switchback...

Everything seems to be working ok off a small 12v battery, all wired to appropriate transformer and superseals;

I'm strictly amateur at this so before I seal the units and install into the van, I'd appreciate any advice/friendly criticism as to why this might not work (or worse....)

thanks.

When I had some switchback multicoloured fog/indicator led’s they would flicker flash and put up a lamp out warning error. I wasn’t keen on the load resistors as they got so hot so pretty much gave up in the end. It’s a shame vcds can’t let you change the expected resistance value to stop the lamp error.

@Insert Coin, thanks, something to look out for

FWIW I have pair of switchback fogs I bought from Autobeam (white/yellow) and they have worked issue-free for over a year. I know that they do an rgb version....
