Doing a tailgate swap in the morning… just bought a complete rear end with tailgate, was blue, been sprayed Candy white, was meant to be complete, but was no rear struts.. so had to nicked them from my spare van… undid one, and it was like a rat trap.. the tailgate dropped right on my head, a sharp bleeding corner,, heads still throb now…

Good luck, I did this to mine and it was straight forward BUT its 100% a 2 person job... Which I didn't fully appreciate until I was stuck holding the panel calling for my partners help LOL

Can you do a time laps vid? I don't need to do it myself, as I already have a tailgate, but it would be fun to watch.
